Clark's Elioak Farm

We met Missy and Sofia at Clark's Elioak Farm for another Easter egg hunt. It was such a cute little farm with different houses to represent different children's stories, like The Three Pigs, Goldilocks, etc. There was also a playground and petting zoo.

Zoo

We went to the Maryland Zoo with some friends for the Easter Bonanzoo. They had a little area set up with an Easter egg hunt with bounce houses, face painting, etc. It was our first visit to this zoo, but I'm sure it won't be our last.

Easter Cookie Playdate

We went to a friends house for a playdate to make and decorate Easter cookies.

Snow Day

We had a rare snow day on Monday. The weather here is much milder than it was in Chicago or Cleveland. They don't get much snow, and it doesn't get as cold. In fact, it reminds me a little of back home. A few weeks ago, there was supposed to be a big blizzard and everything closed (schools, libraries, etc). It ended up being just a few flurries that quickly turned to rain.

Anyway, we finally did get a little snow and it was warm enough that we were able to play in it.

She attempted her first snowman. The snow wasn't very sticky, so it was difficult, but we were able to make a (pretty bad) small one:

Amy's Visit

My friend, Amy, came to visit last week. She flew in on Wednesday and left on Sunday. (Crazy story... she actually ended up driving home on Sunday because her flight was oversold. She's such a trooper!) Like always, it was so good to see her. I wish we lived closer, but I'm so glad she is always able to come and visit us. Unfortunately, I only took a couple of pictures while she was here because we were busy sightseeing and just spending time together.

While she was here, we went to DC to the Air and Space Museum.

Amy and I did a little shopping and sightseeing while Jon took Olivia to her first Easter egg hunt of the year.

I'm so sad I didn't take more pictures. I guess the memories will have to do. Thank you so much for coming, Amy! It was so great to see you and we can't wait for you to come back!!!

Maryland Science Center

Today, we went to the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore. Our new friends have a membership and invited us to go with them. It was lots of fun, and had a big area just for the younger kids.
