Christmas Eve

We went to Christmas Eve service at church today and Olivia got to sing on stage. You can barely see her in the video, so I won't post it. Merry Christmas!

New House

Today, we closed on our new house!! It's official... we are moving to Harrisburg, PA. Jon is being transferred to his company's home office. We knew this was coming eventually, but it was a little sooner than we expected. However, we are super excited to actually buy a house of our own! In our 9 years of marriage, this will be our 9th house and 7th state. It has been a fun ride, but we are all glad to finally be settling down somewhere for good. I'm extremely sad to have to say goodbye to our MD friends (that part never gets easier), but hopefully we can make frequent visits since it's only a couple of hours away. We are anxious to see what this new journey brings for our family!

We will celebrate Christmas in MD and the movers will be here Dec. 28 to take our stuff to PA!

DC Fun!

We are having unseasonably warm weather this week, so Missy and I decided to go to DC to see the National Tree and let Olivia and Sofia play at the National Mall.

As you can tell, we had lots of fun!

Olivia's First Sleepover

Olivia had her first sleepover at someone's house this weekend. She stayed with Karissa while Jon and I went to his company's Christmas party in PA. Sofia ended up spending the night too, so all three BFFs were together :).Here are some of the pictures Anna sent of their time together. (You may have to click on the pictures to view them full size.)

She had so much fun! She's already asking when she can have her next sleepover!  This is what happened 2 minutes into the drive home:
All in all, a great weekend for everyone!

We went to the Ellicott City Railroad Museum to see the Christmas display of trains. Olivia and her friends had fun exploring the trains.

Thanksgiving 2013

We were fortunate to be able to travel to Wisconsin to spend Thanksgiving with Jon's family. We had a great time, and Olivia was spoiled rotten by Grandma and Grandpa. She spent lots of time playing hide-and-seek, sledding in the snow, eating cookies, reading books, singing songs, etc. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures of the fun we had doing all of those things, as well as visiting extended family in Phillips and looking at Christmas lights :(. We have so much to be thankful for this year. Olivia said she was most thankful for mommy and daddy. I'd have to say the feeling is mutual :).
